I have been a Registered Social Worker since the mid nineties. More than anything, I consider myself a family therapist. I have been trained in: cognitive behavioural, solution-focused, choice theory, and narrative therapies. In addition, I am the only certified existential analyst on Vancouver Island.

My areas of expertise and comfort include: anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, addiction, sexual dysfunction, adoption, anger, couples, parent/teen conflict, and custody and access issues.

My typical client demographic goes from eight to eighty-eight. I am affiliated with a wide variety of employment assistance programs, as well as insurers like Great West Life and Blue Cross.
